The 2025 RAM 1500 boasts a redesigned exterior, updated engines, improved tech, and a new top-tier trim. It’s available as either a Quad Cab or Crew Cab with seating for up to six, and you can select a 5’7″ or 6’4″ bed for most trims. 1. Refreshed Exterior Design
The 1500 has reshaped headlights and taillights, with LED now standard across the lineup. You’ll notice redesigned front and rear bumpers as well as an enlarged front grille.
2. New Engines
A choice of two inline-six engines replaces the HEMI V8 for the 2025 1500. The midrange powertrain now delivers 420 horses. The upgraded engine gives you best-in-class six-cylinder power of 540 hp. You can still get the 1500 with the base engine from 2024, a V6 that gives you 305 hp and 269 pound-feet of torque.
You can tow up to 11,560 pounds and haul up to 2,300 pounds with this capable pickup. Adjust your ride height with the optional air suspension system.
3. Enlarged Infotainment Screens
The updated 1500 also has class-leading available touchscreen space. The base model now has a standard 12-inch touchscreen in place of the previous 8.4-inch version. You can swap it out for a new 14.5-inch touchscreen and add a 10.3-inch screen now available for the passenger side.
4. New Trailer Tech
The RAM 1500 has more than 100 standard and available driver assistance features, more than any other pickup truck on the market. The 2025 model brings new optional tech to make towing easier and safer.
A push-button steering knob helps you reverse with the trailer attached and guide the trailer onto the hitch. You can also add a digital rearview mirror with tow mode, trailer-specific navigation, and an integrated trailer brake controller, health monitor, and light check system.
5. All-New Tungsten Trim
The Tungsten model brings unmatched luxury to the top of the 1500 lineup. This brand-new trim gives you premium amenities like a 24-way power-adjustable massaging front seats, a suede headliner, and quilted leather upholstery.
The 1500 Tungsten towers over the competition with 22-inch aluminum wheels, body-colored bumpers and front fascia, and trim-specific emblems. In addition, the 23-speaker Klipsch audio system is the most powerful sound system you’ll find in the full-size truck class.
